Our Story
The ABBA Dance Christmas Experience is a faith-centered show that combines elements of classic stories like the Nutcracker and A Christmas Carol, the nostalgia of popular 20th century Christmas songs, and the depth of the Biblical Christmas story to provide a program that encompasses every aspect of Christmas in a touching, heartfelt production. Using multiple styles of dance, incredible choreography, and costumes, audiences will be immersed into the story unfolding before them and join our main character Mara as she journeys back in time to find the true meaning of Christmas. The ABBA Dance Christmas Experience is sure to become a yearly tradition for all who participate. The show will take place at 2pm on December 4th at North Royalton High school.

Participation FAQ
What kind of participation is required from each family?
Hope is Alive is a fantastic opportunity for dancers to perform in a God honoring environment. All families are required to have one parent on a committee: Props & Set, Costumes, Publicity, Financial Donations, Hospitality, Backstage crew, Setup/Tear Down crew.
What is your rehearsal policy?
As our show is a large endeavor which involves many moving parts, when one dancer is absent it affects the entire rehearsal. All dancers are to attend after class rehearsals and every assigned Saturday rehearsal. Participants are permitted no more than 3 excused absences. If a dancer is absent from more than 3 rehearsals they are no longer able to be in the show.
What are your participation/costume fees?
Our participation and costume fees are set by level and number of rehearsals/ costumes your dancer will need. Participation fees cover the rental of our rehearsal spaces as well as well as the compensation of the teachers rehearsing the students. Costume fees cover costume cleaning, storage, and the rental of the costume. Costumes are rented, not bought. For both the participation and costume fees there is a slight discount for families with multiple dancers in the show.
